Photography exhibition «Magnum in Paris» – Busan
Paris is the city where French opera stage artist Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre, as the world’s first inventor of photography, made the first photographic work, the Boulevard du Temple. It was a historical site where Impressionist painters developed their own new painting techniques.
This exhibition looks at Paris through recording materials that contain 224 photos and 122 unpublished photos of 39 world-class photographers, including Robert Capa and Mark Libu, who have amazing names in the world photography history, including Elliott Erwitt and Martin Parr. In addition, 34 old books, maps, and illustrations related to Paris were exhibited, and the Salon de Paris was created to examine the status of Paris as a modern capital in the 1800s.
